KLS pro-X / TCU

The proX model uses our patented carbon fibre heating technology. Countless GP winners and world champions rely on this superior heating technology. The fastest possible heating of tyre and rim without local overheating phenomena ensure maximum grip and service life of your tyre on the track!
Only the proX has an asymmetrical heating profile: approx. 15% more heating power is effective in the lean area of the tyre than in the centre tread area. This ensures that even with very short heating times the lean angle area offers sufficient grip.

Another unique feature of the proX: 3-dimensionally preformed heating elements for optimum fit / heat transfer and a long service life.

The proX TCU is equipped with a special KLS temperature sensor system. This enables the digital setting, display and control of the tyre temperatures front and rear.
Tyre temperatures of up to 120°C can be preset.

At 20°C ambient temperature approx. 20 minutes to 85-90°C tyre temperature and approx. 45°C rim temperature.
Due to the special KLS temperature sensor technology, heating up can be realised even faster than with thermostat operation!

The "proX TCU" is equipped with a red LED in addition to the digital illuminated display. The red LED signals active heating operation (i.e. red LED = on) or control activity of the control unit (off = LED off).

Inside: The high quality and heat resistant "NOMEX"!

Also available as FULL NOMEX VERSION with red, blue or black strip. Inner AND outer material made of highly heat-resistant NOMEX.
For motorbikes (e.g. various Ducati models) where the exhaust pipe passes very close to the tyre (approx. <40mm), it is recommended to use the full Nomex version. Otherwise, the tyre warmer may be damaged during installation or operation if the exhaust pipe is very hot.

The sidewalls extend far down the side over the rim flange to protect the sidewalls of the tire and the rim from the cold wind. On the one hand, this improves the suspension properties of the tire and ensures a more constant tire air pressure due to a slightly higher rim temperature.

A central hook-and-loop strap and elastic bands on the side allow quick and easy assembly and disassembly.

The power is supplied via a 70 cm long connection cable which is connected to the approx. 2 m long supply cables of the control unit. The secure connection is made via a 7-pin plug that has been tried and tested in Formula 1.
A stable cable strain relief on the tire warmer ensures trouble-free operation.

The basic colour of the tyre warmer on the proX is always black.
